Will the backpack get smelly if it's the same material as the GI?

The backpack has a layer of water resistant polyester on the inside to prevent anything soaking through to the outer material.

Is there something internally to avoid too much contact with the sweaty Gi?

Yes, the inside of the backpack was specifically designed to avoid the outside material getting exposed to sweat.  It is a polyester water resistant material that you can easily wet wipe and leave open to air out to prevent any lingering smell.

Can I put the graded backpack in the washing machine? You can put it in the washing machine. We recommend to put it on a delicate load in cold water.
